Lutheran Social Services of Nevada expresses the love of Christ by serving and caring for people in need.

We realize that everyone faces hard times. The people that we serve may be experiencing a short term financial setback due to losing their job, death of a family member, health issues, or for any number of reasons they need our help. We exist to help people by giving them a "hand up" to see them through their crisis with compassion and dignity. To honor their dreams and goals by providing services that provide a clear path toward self sufficiency.

LSSN has served over 125,000 people since 1997 by providing; food, clothing, transportation, assistance with rent and housing, utilities, prescription medication, birth certificates and health care coverage. In addition, we provide information and referrals to like-minded community organizations that help LSSN continue to support and serve people with "wrap-around" care.
